Mimi Choi - The Makeup Artist Creates Optical Illusion With Her Makeup Will Make You Go Trippy

Doing makeup is a big task, and blending it with the color of your skin is a hell lot exhausting. And somewhere in the world, there are people like Mimi Choi who not only does her make up on her own, but, she creates hyper-real optical illusions with her makeup.

Yes, you heard me right. She creates fascinating illusions through her makeup which is surely bluff your eyes, it looks that real.
From making many eyes on her face to becoming a Rubik Cube, her makeup jaadu will make you go little trippy.

Mimi Choi(32) is a makeup artist from Vancouver, Canada. She gained popularity through her Instagram account and has been featured in various magazines.

She says to Allure:

When I do illusions now, I draw my inspiration mostly from my surroundings, photography, paintings, and emotions. I try not to look at other makeup artists's work too much and challenge myself to produce original, unique work," she says. "My main goal each time I do a new look is to beat myself from yesterday because I'm the biggest critic and competition to myself. It's gotten really hard to impress myself these days but it motivates me to keep trying and doing better.

This is #MAKEUP • UNSOLVABLE RUBIK’S CHEESE FACE 🧀 • A lousy attempt of a RUBIK’S CUBE-inspired #illusion on my sleeping husband @andrewy527 tonight. This definitely does not reflect a real Rubik’s cube because the colors and proportions were off as I didn’t do research prior and I have never solved a Rubik’s Cube in my life. 😂 My husband was lying on the couch snoring the entire time so I thought it was the perfect opportunity for me to put a little something on his face. Wouldn’t say it was a success, but it was fun and challenging and I definitely learned something new from it! I thought it’s funny how it turned out looking like blocks of cheese. Used @mehronmakeup Paradise 30-Color Makeup Palette for the whole thing.

I’m forever grateful for all the love and support I’ve gotten from my Blanche fam since the first day I stepped into the campus. Kendahl and Harold were probably the most “extra” students I ever taught at Blanche but that’s exactly why I love them to death. This humorous look I did on them today summarizes their friendship, kindness, innovative spirit and potato energy.
