Aparshakti Khurana is the budding actor of Bollywood who has repeatedly proved his mettle of acting with his role in movies like stree, dangal, Badrinath ki dulhania, etc. Even though he is in the role of supporting actor, he is still able to shine because of his impeccable acting skills.
Aparshakti Khurana started his career as a radio jockey with Big FM Delhi. His first break came with the film 'Dangal' in which he had a small yet prominent role of narrator as well as the cousin of the sisters Babita and Geeta. His role in this movie drew the attention of a lot of casting directors and his acting was appreciated by the critics as well. Belonging to a middle-class Punjabi family, he completed his education from Chandigarh and then moved to Delhi for his job as an RJ.
With Dangal as his breakthrough movie, he was able to impress a lot of people who wanted to cast him as the lead for their movies but Aparshakti didn't want the momentary fame and name. He firmly believes that he would like to be small part of good movies and scripts rather than taking up any kind of lead role in any mediocre movie. He has rejected many such movies that promised him a lead role but didn't personally appeal him. He believes that he is still in the process of learning and has a long way to go before he can fully evolve into a well-established actor.

He is in no hurry to earn fame and is taking his sweet time to come to public notice. He is comfortable doing small roles because he sees them as a process of becoming a full-fledged artiste. He doesn't want to be a momentary hero but wants to be remembered through his journey and zeal.
Bollywood is particularly cold towards the outsiders with big dreams and it is often seen that there journey is full of disappointments but the times are changing. People don't easily forget and they can recognize a talent even if it shares a small screen time. Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Rajkummar Rao are the examples of such people who with patience and persistence were able to break into the industry and establish themselves firmly. Following their steps, now comes to another budding actor Aparshakti Khurana who is apparently here to stay as well.
Aparshakti Khurana might have achieved this all on his own but he is also related to Ayushman Khurana who is already a well-established actor with movies like Dum laga ke Haisha, Vicky Donor, Bareilly ki Barfi, etc. But despite this very obvious connection he received no help from his elder brother to get movies. Aparshakti Khurana is a big admirer of his elder brother and considers him as his biggest inspiration. His belief that the journey matters the most rather than the success of the movie is given to him by Ayushmaan himself.
He is someone to look forward to because of his raw acting skills that are not only impressive but also makes him stand out amongst the other much-established actors. He is cautious with his movies and is working smartly and diligently towards his dreams. With his recent performance in 'stree', he has been able to leave his mark. In this movie, he has played the role of cynical yet jovial friend who adds a whole dash of humour in the story.
He has build up everyone's expectations with the kind of role he chooses for himself and it would be interesting to see more of his movies. He has already been casted for roles in upcoming movies like Luka chuppi and rajma chawal.
