Nowadays I feel being a parent to a young boy is more of a responsibility than being a parent to a girl. To teach good values and ethics to our young boys is as important as giving polio drops to infants. It doesn't matter if you are a mother or a father to a boy but being a parent it is your responsibility to teach that kid the meaning of equality, politeness and showing respect to other people irrespective of gender, race or religion.
It is okay to help your mother, sister, and wife in some house chores. It is not only meant for women, but home also doesn't belong to her alone and it is your responsibility too to keep it virtuous, tidy and fresh.
As you have full right to be shirtless anytime and girls don't comment on your nude chest, in the same manner, you have no right to comment on girl's clothes. It is her body and she has the full right to choose her own wardrobe. It is her choice to wear a dress or jeans; you are no one to tell her what she should wear and what not?
Violence doesn't mean manhood. A real man is a person who remains calm and shows his love and care towards his loved ones. Violence is for cowards and impotent.
If any girl is not comfortable with your touch then please leave her alone. Respect her decision and show your real gentleman values by maintaining a good amount of distance.
It is okay to cry and you don't become less of a man only because you are sensitive. Don't say "boys don't care" rather than say "boys don't make others cry". In this way, you are putting great ethics in them.
There are no things, which are only meant for boys or girls like kitchen set is not only for girls, even boys can play with it and it is totally normal and cars are not only for boys, girls also drive and they love to play with cars. Blue is not for only boys and pink is not only for girls, colors can't define your gender, kids.
Don't date any girl only because you need to win some scores among your guy's gang, date or love her only because you have real feelings for that girl. Love is not a game; it is an emotion from which you have no right to play.
Grooming is not only for girls; it is okay to pamper you with all the beauty treatments like a pedicure, manicure, facial and others. Be hygienic and happy at the same time.
It is okay to lose, learn to accept failures and don't let your ego be bigger than your dreams and desires. There is no such thing like "man ego".
Teach them to take responsibility for their own actions, they can't run away with problems only because they are "men". If they have done something horrible in school or college, give them same punishments, which you would have given to your daughters.
Last, teach them to forgive. Ask them to be more giving and caring.
